My love of art and fashion is the driving force of my life. I am extremely passionate about textile design, high end garment craftsmanship, and the socio-cultural importance of fashion. I am highly influenced by the mathematical beauty of pattern and symmetry found in nature. Sustainability in fashion design is of the utmost importance to me and I strive to incorporate sustainable practises into everything I create. I often combine textile artistry with garment construction through a number of traditional techniques including eco-dyeing, crochet, wool felting, smocking, and embroidery.
